    Hi Melanie,
I am a bit late discovering your Medallion Sew-Along posts. I think what you’ve created here is absolutely wonderful.
I am co-founder of the Modern Quilters of Ireland guild and would very much like to use your blog posts as the basis for our 2014 QAL. Would that be alright with you? What I have in mind is to post on our blog approximately once a month just a bit of chat, an update on my progress and point our members to your tutorials (on your blog, giving you full credit for the time/effort you put into creating this wonderful sew-along). They could then use your tutorials to create their own medallion quilt. We’d then have a linky party for members to show progress a month or so later with giveaways, etc from our local Irish quilt shops.
I will not do anything without your permission. Please let me know your thoughts.
    Thank you,
    Cindy

I’ll be joining you! My center block is 24 inches…a little bigger than the original plan…I’m sure we’ll make it work! I’m in eastern Iowa, near Davenport, are you close enough for a consult?

I don’t believe I’ve ever done a medallion quilt but I’m really looking forward to this one. I think I have just the purples, green, and coordinating colors that will look great. So, is the 15 1/2 inch block a good size to begin with to make a 70″ quilt??
